HUTCH HOME: DIY Baby Wipes

Here is what you need:
Half of a double roll Bounty select a size
One 10 Cup size Rubbermaid container
1 Tbsp. Baby Oil
1 Tbsp. Baby Bath
1.5 cups water
(If you prefer more "wet" wipes you may use 2 c water and 1.5 Tbsp of baby oil and wash)

DIRECTIONS:
Combine all liquids in your Rubbermaid container.
Cut the paper towels with a serrated knife or electric bread knife and remove the cardboard roll/core.
Place paper towel half in container with the cut side down.
Secure lid and turn the whole container upside down until the liquid is completely absorbed.
Voila! Homemade wipes!!
To help give you a price comparison, I recently purchased a three pack of Great Value wipes. Each pack contains 80 wipes so for $5.16 (tax included) you receive a total of 240 wipes. That is roughly $0.02 a wipe which is a great deal!
Homemade wipes boil down to LESS than $0.01 per wipe.
Paper towels=$4.97 (for two rolls which equals 4 containers of baby wipes)
Parent's choice baby oil=$1.94 for 14 oz
Or 7¢ for 1Tbsp.
PC baby wash=$2.56 for 28 oz
Or 5¢ for 1 Tbsp.
So if you were to make all four rolls, it would be a total of $5.45 and would yield 568 wipes. Making them LESS THAN $0.01 each! So for half the price of store bought you have simple homemade wipes! Yay!
